5 Great Herbal Teas

So this month I'm doing a 30 days of Self-care challenge. I didn't want to do the normal things people would chose to do for self-care. I wanted them to be unique to me, and things that would actually benefit me as a person. So as I sit and research and browse things I like to do I came across Herbal teas. I can always drink a good tea! So here are the five best Herbal teas that you may want to consider.




Chamomile tea is a calming tea that can aid in relaxation and help reduce anxiety. This tea is good for the immune system. It can soothe cold symptoms including sore throats. It can also help with digestion.




Peppermint tea is a great choice for digestive health and can help to soothe an upset stomach. It has been known to help ease tension headaches and migraines. It's known to help relieve menstrual cramps and beneficial against bacterial infections.




My favorite is Ginger Tea. Ginger teas is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and can aid in reducing nausea and motion sickness. I drink Ginger tea for immune health. It has helped greatly with digestion and boosting my immune system. It has also been good as a natural diuretic.





Hibiscus tea is a sweet tea packed with antioxidants, which can help to boost the immune system and aid in digestion. I've never had Hibiscus tea, but it looks like it would be tasty. It should be consumed moderately, because high consumption can cause toxicity. It is known to promote weight loss, but can interact negatively with medicines for people who are being treated with high blood pressure or diabetes.





Rooibos Tea is rich in minerals and can help reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and aid in weight loss. It has a sweet nutty taste. It contains minerals such as, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and alpha hydroxyl acid. It helps fight free radicals, which can aid in energy and vitality.
