Benefits of Infrared Sauna

I was surfing the internet for ways I could try something different or add to my Self-care routine. I cam across something called Infrared Sauna. It's a type of Sauna Bathing that uses light to make heat. It consists of lamps that offer heat-therapy by heating your body directly without heatin the air around you. I'm definitely interested in this type of Sauna bating, and did a little research on it. Here are some benefits that I've learned come from Infrared Sauna bathing:

  • Improves Heart Health: blood vessels widens to increase blood flow, heart rate goes up, and heart rate increases equal to walking at a moderate pace

  • Soothes sore muscles: improves blood circulation and speeds up muscle recovery, may improve performance

  • Pain relief: is known to releive or aid in the treatment of chronic pain

  • Relaxation: decreases depression, anxiety, stress, and improves sleep

  • Fighting off illness: reduces oxidative stress which can be associated with cardiovascular disease, cancer, and dementia

  • Similar to Exercise: provokes thermoregulation, some studies show

  • Improves Skin Tone: dilates the blood vessels to deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the skin

  • Flushes out toxins: gives the body the extra push needed to release toxins through sweat

So the cost can range from 69.00 - 500.00 depending on the session. I found a place that I am ready to try that is 69.00 for an hour session. I'll let you all know how it goes.
